HelloWorld App

May 8, 2009 at 3:44 PM

Hi Guys, are there any changes in the way of creating the HelloWorld with version 1.1 ?

I have followed the tutorial, but it doesnt work for me. I changed the

Src=“staticImages/dzc_output.xml”  for   Src=“GeneratedImages/dzc_output.xml”
but still doesnt work. Or maybe is the way Im referencing the jellyfish.dll (do I need only the dll or I have to configure a solution with specific info?
The result I get is only an empty sl host instance.
Of course I have created a colection with the Composer. Or maybe I have to update my DeepZoomComposer ?

Hi, Alex

There are NO changes in the way of creating the HelloWorld with version 1.1.

About "jellyfish.dll", you need ONLY dll.
(you don't have to configure a solution with specific info.)

I don't think the problem is because using SL2.
because I developed "Jellyfish Deep Zoom" using SL2.
(To be precise,
Microsoft Silverlight 2 Tools for Visual Studio 2008 SP1
version 9.0.30729.146)

May I have the following information,
because I do not be solve your Error Code "2105" from below URL.

i) What is your OS (and service pack) ?

ii) With Deep Zoom Composer (April 2009 Release),
select "Export" Tab, and select "Custom" Tab,
and check "Silverlight Deep Zoom" of Output type. (Default is "Images")
Press "Export" Button, "Export Completed" dialog displayed.
Press "View Project Folder" Button, and double-click "DeepZoomProject.sln".
Set "Start Page" to "DeepZoomProjectWeb\ClientBin\jellyfishDZAppTestPage.html".
When Hit F5, do you show an example page of Deep zoom composer?

iii) Has SL3 been installed once (or more) with your PC ?
